Located on the shores of a picturesque lake, the resort offers spacious cabins with stunning views. The rooms are generally fine, with a good size and comfortable amenities. Guests can also enjoy delicious meals, with superb dinners and breakfasts available. the resort provides a great location, comfortable rooms, and enjoyable activities.
Some aspects of the resort's maintenance and upkeep have been slipping in recent years.

I had an amazing stay at this resort! The rooms in the main lodge were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The free breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options. The restaurant, right on the lake, served really tasty dinners. The hotel also had fantastic facilities, including activities like boat rentals, paddle boards, and kayaks. The staff were exceptional, especially Julia and David who made the S'mores campfire so much fun. The pontoon boat ride with John was a highlight - his company and knowledge were outstanding.
For us, it was ideal.

We got great value for our money at this resort. The room was comfortable and the beds were amazing. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed all the outdoor activities offered. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better was more variety in the food options for breakfast.

My wife and I recently had a wonderful stay at Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort. We stayed in the main lodge and were pleased to find clean rooms and comfortable beds. The free breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The restaurant, located right on the lake, served excellent dinner dishes. We were impressed by the numerous activities available, including boat rentals, paddle boarding, kayaking, and even free s'mores for fires. The resort also had a beautiful golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, and even offered free pontoon rides. we were very impressed with our experience at this resort.

We had a fantastic time at Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort. The staff, especially Julia and David, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The campfire with s'mores was a highlight of our trip. Additionally, John, the pontoon boat captain, provided us with a memorable excursion and great company. The golf course was in great shape despite the rain, and the pro shop staff were friendly and helpful. The cozy villas along the golf course provided comfortable accommodations. we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this resort.

The meals were delicious, and we loved the variety of activities available, like golfing, tennis, and the nature hike. It was a great family vacation that we will cherish!
There were a few downsides to our stay. The room could have been cleaner, and it seemed a bit worn down.
